The sculpture was created by Jim Schnieder who studied under Stanford University Professor and Sculpture Department Chair, minimalist Richard Randell. Jim's work has been shown in high profile public venues, and granted to NASA Ames Research Center, Mission Carmel, Filoli (bench), Grace Cathedral, Nevada Art Museum (bench), Humane Society of Nevada, and Naval Postgraduate School. Jim is an Air Force veteran, earned his A.A. in Liberal Arts from American River College, his B.A. in psychology from Stanford University, and served as Bank of America's Vice President & National Purchasing Manager Furniture & Equipment, and Robert Half International's National Purchasing Manager. Jim and Cindy lived in Blackhawk for eighteen years. Her career was in consumer lending management with Beneficial/HSBC, Washington Mutual and Wells Fargo. They celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary in 2012. They now live in Nevada's beautiful high desert where they acquired a nearby 40 acre estate parcel of wild horse habitat. Will Mt.
