Home Be There by James Norman Schnieder We may gleam in the world of our mind. We may glisten with the wealth of our time. But with life so measured and goodness treasured, we seek our own place to shine. Home be there, be there for me and mine. A need for home - the common thread for dark and light, large and slight. Like old wine and new bread, our lair restores our might. In pain or comfort, tent or palace, madness fades to mist. As we toast and lift our chalice; know our roof and hearth are gifts. Be it in Styx or the Rhine, that place I lay my head, the warmth within is mine, and the welcome mat is spread. As seasons come and go, fruit dropping from the vine, friendship herein remains aglow. Home be there, be there for me and mine. ~<O>~ Copyright (c) 2002 by James Norman Schnieder All rights reserved.
